Description: Lake Salinas is a salt pan located in the Arequipa Region , Peru. It is located within the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reservation . The lake is 4,300 metres (14,100 ft) over the sea level and its size is 6,182 hectares (15,280 acres) but shrinks to a thin salt crust in the dry season.
